Twisted Tales

Take a journey through the fairy tale forest…with a twist! In this class, students will use their imaginations to put their own spin on classic fairy tale characters and stories. Will the giant come down the beanstalk to meet the big bad wolf? Will Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks meet in the woods? There’s only one way to find out! This class is part of our NEW Creative Drama series, which develops theatre skills in an accessible way through theatre games, exercises, and creative exploration. It is a process based curriculum, with lots of freedom to create the stories and characters that most ignite and excite the imaginations of young actors. In Code Breakers, students will focus on STORYTELLING and WORLD BUILDING. Creative Drama: – Builds empathy, teamwork, and confidence. – Encourages focus and creative problem solving. – Shows that theatre skills are life skills – Courage, Collaboration, and Compassion!
