Illumination: The Contours of Light explores the subtle yet often compelling relationship between presence and absence, darkness and luminosity, and shadow and silhouette. Utilizing simple elements of light and form as a visual platform, the fifteen contemporary artists featured in this exhibition contemplate, examine, and question the manner in which darkness is considered. The totality of the works presented illuminates how light not only reveals the world around us but also shapes our perception of it.
