About

About the Talk:
Artist Talks provide an opportunity for artists to share their work and passions with the public, as well as offer insight into the exhibition as a whole. Be part of the conversation, express your thoughts and ideas, ask your burning questions, or simply sit back and enjoy the discussion. This is an opportunity to learn about the speaker’s artistic processes as well as their other projects!
About the Speakers:
For this Artist Talk, we have the honor of hosting two wonderfully unique artists, Claude-Gerard Jean and Klayne Rolader!
Jean’s artistic mediums of choice differ per piece, ranging from acrylic paint to aluminum panels, yet they all carry a profound visual depth. As a registered nurse, Jean’s art is a reflection of his appreciation for complex individuals. His visual meditations are designed to ignite conversations on topics of mental health and life experiences.
Similarly, photographer Rolader is deeply passionate about the inner workings of the human mind. In an effort to embrace the beauty of silence, she remains observant to the world around her. For Rolader, photography is the perfect vehicle for capturing those moments of quiet and turning them into memories to revisit.
Join us inside the gallery for a passionate dialogue on the human experience with artists Claude-Gerard Jean and Klayne Rolader on Tuesday, June 24th!
