About

About the Talk:
Artist Talks provide an opportunity for artists to share their work and passions with the public, as well as offer insight into the exhibition as a whole. Be part of the conversation, express your thoughts and ideas, ask your burning questions, or simply sit back and enjoy the discussion. This is an opportunity to learn about the speaker’s artistic processes as well as their other projects!

About the Speaker:

Horacio Arias is a young Mexican American photographer with a passion for educating art consumers on the many ongoing social and political issues of today. His work primarily focuses on the exploration of manhood and oneself within his own interpersonal settings. Rather than provide his audience with any answers he may find amidst his own explorative journey, he instead leaves space for the viewer to think for themselves.
Arias’s work can seem outwardly simple, but often holds a personal depth we can all relate to.
Join us for an intimate discussion to see how Arias’s explorations have led him to the “Mended” Exhibit! We hope to see you there!
