Classic Rock Legend Jim Messina Live In Concert at Woodstock Arts

For those who enjoy relaxing to classic rock or folk rock music, this is the perfect way to spend your Saturday evening.

Known for songs such as “Stay in the Night,” “House at Pooh Corner,” and “Your Mama Don’t Care,” Jim Messina will be performing in our Lantern Concert Series on Saturday, October 11.

His folky, rhythmic sound has been listened to and celebrated for decades. With live instruments—and impressive harmonies—he plays nostalgic tunes and gives his fans what they want.

Jim Messina started his career in the 1960s as a teenager, but started gaining popularity in the 70s. Along his journey to stardom, he became a recording engineer and later the bass player for the country rock band Buffalo Springfield. Here, he performed with big names such as Neil Young and Bruce Palmer.

He has also performed in groups like Poco as well as Loggins and Messina, where he worked with the famous Kenny Loggins, also known for his folk rock music.

Now, he is still touring and performing live music for his fans. Mixing amazing vocals with folk, country, and soft rock elements, he maintains his reputation. If you want a fun night of live music under the stars, this is an experience you cannot miss.

You can be a part of this rock legend’s legacy. Join us at the Event Green at Woodstock Arts at 7:30 p.m.
