CLASS DESCRIPTION

Each week we’ll make a different clay sculptures project using handbuilding techniques. Once our pieces are dried and fired, we’ll add color with glazes. We’re going to get messy, so wear play clothes and tie back long hair if you have it!
There will be no class held Feb 20th

Allison Frink

Allison has been creating since she was old enough to hold a crayon. She earned a BFA in Animation and has been teaching and organizing community art classes since 2006. She loves trying new mediums, learning new skills, and sharing that knowledge. Current favorites include watercolors, drawing, jewelry, and fiber arts.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Join us for an exciting clay class on Friday mornings. Students will enjoy learning new clay techniques and exploring their creative side in the fun world of clay. We will handcraft at least 4 pieces and learn a variety of glazing techniques to complete their artwork.

There will be no class held during on Feb 3rd or Feb 24th

Heather Stevens

Heather Stevens is an artist that loves utilizing creative objects in her work. She loves focusing on textures and combining art skills in unique ways. Teaching Ceramics brings her great joy; she loves that it provides students of all experience levels the opportunity to make impressive pieces. When Heather isn’t staying up too late obsessing about her own art projects, she can be found working with her own Photography Company, exploring the beautiful outdoors with her family, or working with her children to clean up the many art projects they have created. She has taught at Jan Dempsey Community Art Center, Jules Collins Smith Museum, and in various school systems. She loves being a part of Woodstock Art

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Bring your child and have fun creating hand-built clay pieces together! Projects will focus on pieces that both adult and child can make together as well as alongside one another, while creating lasting memories. At least 4 projects will be made. Up to two children per adult included.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

In this workshop you will learn the basics of improvisation as well as exercises that focus on building unique characters in unique environments.

All skill levels are welcome!

INSTRUCTOR

Joe Lemmo

Joe Lemmo became the iThink Improv Director in October 2017. He is a professional educator and improv artist with over 20 years of
experience in public education and 10 years of experience in improv comedy.

Joe directs and performs with the iThink Improv Troupe. Joe also teaches adult, teen, and youth improv classes that each end in their very own graduation shows. He lives in Canton with his wife, son, daughter, and cat.
