You will lead how Woodstock Arts shows up in the world; shaping clear, compelling content that grows audiences, strengthens relationships, and expands the organization’s impact across our community.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO HERE:
As the Content Coordinator at Woodstock Arts, you will sit at the center of the creation and imagery of storytelling, strategy, and community connection. You will help translate bold artistic work into accessible, engaging messages that invite people in – whether they are longtime supporters or first-time visitors.
You will collaborate closely with department leaders, artists, staff, and volunteers to ensure our communications reflect the energy, quality, and relevance of our programming. From digital campaigns to print materials, your work will directly shape how our audiences discover, experience, and stay connected to Woodstock Arts.
You will be trusted to build systems that work, elevate brand consistency, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving arts environment. As a member of the Management Team, you will contribute to organization-wide thinking, support major events, and help ensure our growing footprint in the community is matched by thoughtful, strategic communication.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Brand, Content & Media Creation / Management [45%]
Digital Media Communications & Audience Growth [40%]
Organizational Support & Collaboration [10%]

YOU WILL LIKELY BE:
You likely bring a background in communications, marketing, event promotion, or nonprofit work, supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Experience in arts, culture, or community-focused organizations is a strong plus.
You are comfortable with everyday digital tools and excited to explore new ones. You may already be familiar with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Adobe Suite, Canva, and email marketing systems. Experience with tools such as WordPress, Square, Stripe, DotDigital, Mailchimp, Gravity Forms, Jotform, Elementor, Zapier, or APIs is helpful but not required—we value curiosity and willingness to learn.
You love to create and make clear asks through your photography, videography, or other edits for an audience. You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Above all, you bring a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and take pride in representing an organization with care, creativity, and professionalism.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
This role requires a flexible schedule, including frequent evenings and weekends to support events and programs.
The position involves standing, walking, bending, frequent use of hands, stooping, and lifting. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level and highly collaborative.
You will participate in organization-wide events, including marketing, fundraising, and critical initiatives, and may serve as “staff on duty” to support operations.
