At this point in time, all of our Junior Theatre Camps have filled for this summer. We do have waitlists set up for each week. Please create an account on Jackrabbit at the link to the right and then email kyle@woodstockarts.org to be added to a waitlist.

Summer Camp Schedule:

June 2-6 | “Horton Hears a Who”  Week 1

On the fifteenth of May in the Jungle of Nool, Horton the Elephant discovers a tiny world on a dust speck, and in turn discovers that his own world is much larger than he ever could have imagined. On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the musical How I Became a Pirate.

June 9-13 | “The Rainbow Fish”  Week 2

The rainbow fish love to flaunt their shiny scales and refuse to play with anyone who doesn’t have a scale. The other fish have had enough! With the help of a wise octopus, the rainbow fish learn to share their scales and play with others. On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the musical How I Became a Pirate.

July 7-11 | “The Night at the Museum”  Week 5

After clocking in for their first shift, the new night guards discover the museum’s secret: all the exhibits come to life at night! Now they’ll have to find all the dinosaur fossils and get those dioramas back in place before the guests arrive in the morning. On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the play Digging Up Dessa, for which parental guidance is suggested.

July 14-18 | “Zathura”  Week 6

In this sequel to Jumanji, a group of children play a science-fiction board game and are surprised when their house rockets off into space. The only way to get back to Earth is by winning, and the only way to win is by playing, so they’re left to roll the dice and deal with whatever robots and aliens may stand in their way!On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the play Digging Up Dessa, for which parental guidance is suggested.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Junior Camp is comprised of students ages 5-8 (Grades K-2). Their scripts are prewritten, and roles are cast on Monday.

Junior Camp is focused more on basic acting blocks and stage etiquette.

Junior Camp performances will be on Fridays at 2:00 pm.

Woodstock Arts is taking measures to ensure your child’s safety and well-being. We want to make this experience as comfortable, safe, and fun as possible for everyone involved.

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Camp payments will be processed on the soonest Thursday once you register.

If you would like to create a payment plan to pay in installments, please email kyle@woodstockarts.org at the time of registration. Otherwise, the full tuition value will be charged that Thursday.

Our education programs are hosted and managed on a site called Jackrabbit. This allows you to fill out your student and payment information one time and register for any of our educational programs.

Individual camps are available to the left, or you can click below to set up an account and view all available programs for your students.

You will also need to create an account to be put on a waitlist for any camp.

June 2-6 |  “Seuss on the Loose”

Create, rehearse, and perform your own original musical all in one week! On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the musical How I Became a Pirate. This week’s performance will be on Friday at 3:30 pm.

June 9-13 |  “Ocean Adventures”

Create, rehearse, and perform your own original musical all in one week! On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the musical How I Became a Pirate. This week’s performance will be on Friday at 3:30 pm.

June 16-20 | “Greek Week”

Create, rehearse, and perform your own original musical all in one week! On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the musical How I Became a Pirate. This week’s performance will be on Friday at 2:00 pm.

June 23-27 | “Swinter”

Create, rehearse, and perform your own original musical all in one week! On Wednesday, campers will see a performance from the Woodstock Arts Improv Troupe. This week’s performance will be on Friday at 2:00 pm.

July 7-11 | “Night at the Museum”

July 21-25 | “Mystery Mayhem”

Create, rehearse, and perform your own original musical all in one week! On Wednesday, campers will see a performance of the play Digging Up Dessa. This week’s performance will be on Friday at 2:00 pm.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Middle Camp is comprised of students ages 8-12 (Grades 3-7). Their scripts are developed off a central theme each week with music and produced by the campers and their counselors.

Middle Camp is focused more on ensemble building and teamwork. Campers will create characters, costume designs, art projects, and much more.

Woodstock Arts is taking measures to ensure your child’s safety and well-being. We want to make this experience as comfortable, safe, and fun as possible for everyone involved.

Camp payments will be processed on the soonest Thursday once you register.
