CLASS DESCRIPTION

Plates, tumblers, bowls, oh my! This 6-week wheel throwing class explores basic skills on the potter’s wheel for beginners and challenges intermediate students. We’ll learn how to create custom functional ceramics that would be perfect for a picnic in the backyard, a casual barbeque, or a patio dinner party! Demonstrations on centering, pulling, altering, and trimming will be taught alongside some surface decoration techniques. Be sure to dress for some messy studio work!
