The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition –
Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
Rehearsals – Rehearsals will be on Thursday evenings from 6 p.m to 9 p.m and Saturdays from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Additional Technical Rehearsals are scheduled on a Monday and Tuesday ahead of performances. A full show schedule and calendar will be made available prior to casting.

PREPARATION

Our Youth and Teen Spotlight productions are tuition-based educational theatre programs. Tuition will be $350 for each student that is cast. Discounts for families with multiple students in the cast and needs-based scholarships are available. If your participation in the program is dependent upon receipt of a scholarship, please complete our scholarship application HERE prior to your scheduled audition time.
Auditions will be in-person on Sunday September 9th from 6 p.m to 8 p.m and Monday September 11th from 6 p.m to 8 p.m.Â
STUDENTS WHO WISH TO AUDITION FOR SPONGEBOB AND A CHRISTMAS CAROL NEED ONLY SIGN-UP FOR ONE TIME SLOT.
Video audition submissions will be accepted until Monday the 11th at 8:00 pm. You can send your Video Submission to kyle@woodstockarts.org. Please slate (introduce yourself) before your video audition. (NOTE: you will still need to fill out the online audition form along with a video submission.)Â
In-person callbacks  will take place on Wednesday, September 13th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Pick ONE of the following monologues or the scene. If picking the scene learn ONE of the characters. Please also prepare 30 seconds – 1 minute of an upbeat song in the style of the show. Please ensure that your music is downloaded prior to the audition and you have a way to play it for yourself!Â
