LOCAL ARTIST SHOWCASE: Addison Levy

Every first Friday, we hold an Opening Reception for a local artist whose artwork is on display in the Reeves House Education Studio.

Come meet the artist behind the artwork on display while sipping a glass of wine and swaying to some live music at the Opening Reception.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello! My name is Addie and I am a senior at Cherokee High School. Art has been a huge passion of mine ever since I could pick up a pencil. Over the years I’ve grown immensely as an artist, especially under the guidance of Mrs. Clifton, the art teacher at CHS. I am heavily inspired by animals and nature, which I love showcasing in my art works. Other than when using charcoal, I tend to use lots of color. I love making art that evokes feelings of joy and happiness. I use many different materials but some of my favorites include pencil, charcoal, and oil paint.
