About
Sandy Nelson is a retired elementary school librarian who makes children’s quilts. Her submission for “Small Town: Small Works,” is a quilt entitled “Dive Into Christmas”. This quilt is an example of the many quilts she donates to children around the holidays. Sandy’s unique perspective on children and their creativity is one of many things she will discuss during her artist talk.
Artist Talks provide an opportunity for artists to share their artwork and ideas to the public and offer insight into the exhibition as a whole. Be part of the conversation, express your thoughts and ideas, or simply sit back and enjoy the discussion.
