CLASS DESCRIPTION

 In this engaging class, young artists will explore a variety of art techniques and materials. Through fun, hands-on projects, students will discover the basics of drawing, painting, and crafting while learning essential art concepts like line, shape, color, value, and texture. By the end of the class, students will have a collection of fun and colorful projects!

INSTRUCTOR

Jetta Whitehurst

Ms. Jetta is a passionate art instructor dedicated to nurturing the creative talents of young artists! Jetta is an aspiring secondary school teacher and senior at Kennesaw State University double majoring in journalism and theater. Jetta has previously worked art and theater camps at Woodstock Arts, as well as theater and songwriting camps at the Alliance Theatre. In her free time, she can be caught reading, painting, dancing, or hiking.
