CLASS DESCRIPTION

This 8 week class is designed for you to get comfortable at the pottery wheel. Goals for this class will range from mug-making to larger vessels such as vases, so that students of all experience levels can expand their knowledge. Beginner students will learn all of the basic steps of creating a piece including wedging, centering, trimming, and glazing. For intermediate students, we will work towards your goals with the wheel, whether that’s creating larger pieces or more advanced forms. Students will be encouraged to create at their heart’s desire and above all, value their creativity. The ultimate goal for this class is for you to feel knowledgeable about wheel throwing and to create work that makes you happy. Aprons are recommended, but not required

There will be no class held on February 20th.

Class space is limited. Supplies will be provided.
